A great decision maker, Dr. Gulledge brings a vast array of experience and knowledge to Tampa Veterinary Hospital. Before she achieved her dream of becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Gulledge was a registered nurse and has a second undergraduate degree in Biology. Both of these scientific fields have supplemented her deep understanding of veterinary diseases and medicine. She graduated from the University of Illinois, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and then traded the snow and ice of Illinois for the beaches of Florida.
Don’t be misled by Dr. Gulledge’s quiet demeanor. Only her depth of experience in many different veterinary practices matches her gentle kindness. Her expertise in animal travel and excellent veterinary medical skills have added significantly to the TVH medical practice. She’s a great listener, an essential skill in truly understanding the problems you are having with your pet. Her husband, a cat- Orion and a Lhasa Apso, Penny, keep their house lively.
