Tampa Veterinary hospital is a general practice with surgery, emergency, and exotic practices. As a Veterinary Technician, you will:
- Compassionately care for patients
- Take medical histories
- Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy
- Place IV catheters
- Take radiographs
- Measure blood pressures
- Administer and dispense common veterinary medications via appropriate routes and protocol
- Triage patients and alert the Veterinarian if a patients status changes or if vital signs are outside of normal ranges
