Dr. Juli Chun is a small animal veterinarian dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO). Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and technician in both general practice and specialty hospitals, gaining valuable hands-on experience with a wide variety of cases. After obtaining her Bachelor degree, she completed a post-baccalaureate science program before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Arizona.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Chun completed a rotating internship at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, where she received training in emergency medicine & critical care, internal medicine, and surgery.
Dr. Chun enjoys all aspects of general practice and has particular interests in internal medicine, urgent care, and client education. She is committed to providing individualized care and helping clients make informed decisions about their pets’ health.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Chun enjoys exploring Tampa’s food scene, traveling, spending time at the beach, and staying active. She shares her home with her partner and two cats, Lily and Juniper.
